For a wedding, we needed a pianist who could personally accompany the ceremony and create a relaxed atmosphere during dinner. We selected a pianist who also sings and has a broad repertoire, and coordinated three important songs in advance. This ensured that the music and presentation complemented the venue and the overall feel of the day.

What music can a pianist perform?
This depends on the pianist and setting. Options range from classical, jazz and film music to pop, soul, Dutch songs and contemporary requests.
Can the pianist also sing?
Yes. We can find a pianist who also sings when this suits the desired atmosphere. A separate vocalist can also join the pianist.
Can we request personal songs?
Certainly. For a ceremony or special moment we discuss important songs well in advance and check whether additional preparation is required.
Does the venue need to have a piano?
No. If the venue does not have a suitable piano or grand piano, a professional keyboard in an elegant grand-piano shell can be supplied, preserving a sleek and refined appearance.
Is amplification required?
An acoustic piano may be sufficient in a small room. Suitable amplification is required when using a keyboard or vocals, or when performing for a larger group. We advise on this in advance.
How long does a pianist perform?
A pianist can accompany one specific moment or perform several sets during a reception, drinks or dinner. We align timing with the programme.
Can a pianist play during dinner without dominating?
Yes. Repertoire, volume and position are matched to the room. An experienced dinner pianist knows when music may stand out and when it should remain in the background.
What does booking a pianist cost?
The fee depends on duration, experience, travel, line-up, instrument and production. After a short introduction you receive a transparent proposal.
